In a gesture of gratitude for his unwavering support, Hard Rock International also bestowed a $100,000 donation upon Legend for his ‘Show Me’ campaign.
The exclusive event, dubbed ‘Unity by Hard Rock Come Together for Good,’ took place on Thursday, September 12th at the original Hard Rock Cafe in London. The occasion marked the global launch of the ‘Unity by Hard Rock’ loyalty program.
Two lucky Unity members hailing from Yukon, Oklahoma were selected through a sweepstake to attend the event, receiving special merchandise and accommodations at the inaugural ‘Hard Rock House.’
During the event, Legend was presented with the generous donation for his ‘Show Me’ Campaign, an organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for young individuals. In response, Legend expressed his appreciation for the support from Hard Rock, stating, “I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to perform once again at a Hard Rock venue, this time for Unity members and fans at the original cafe in London. The evening was truly special, especially with Hard Rock’s contribution to The Show Me Campaign.”
Grateful for the chance to give back, Legend continued, “I understand that my success was not solely based on talent, but also the guidance of teachers who believed in me. I extend my thanks to Hard Rock for backing The Show Me Campaign’s mission to ensure quality education and opportunities for the next generation.”
